Material examined. 2 males. CHINA, Guangxi province, Rongshui city, 7-VIII-2003, leg. Guo-hua Huang. 1 male. CHINA, Guangxi province, Yuanbao Mountain , 22-VIII-2001, leg. Guo-hua Huang. 1 male. CHINA, Guangxi province, Jiuwan Mountain , 30-III-2003, leg. Guo-hua Huang ( SCAU) .
Identification notes. Wingspan 46 mm. Forewing purplish brown, orbicular and reniform stigma quite obvious, purplish black with yellow edge. Hindwing with four black speckles that connect into a line at subterminal area, discal spot black and small.
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. pseudassimilis sp. nov. and the differences between them are mentioned above.
Distribution. China (Guangxi, Xizang) ( Orhant 2015).
