Remarks
Material identified by Ren (2001, 2006) from the South China Sea as Cymadusa brevidactyla is assigned to C. cavimana ( Sivaprakasam 1971) . Illustrations in Ren (2006) show an individual with the male gnathopod 1 propodus palm excavate, dactylus overreaching palm and gnathopod 2 propodus palm with deep subquadrate excavation, characteristic of C. cavimana .
