General distribution. Holarctic species, from Pyrenees and northern Europe to Chukotka; Nearctic from Alaska to Nova Scotia, south to New Mexico; reaching in Europe beyond the Arctic Circle (see Proshchalykin 2008, Ebmer 2011).
