Lectotype (designated here by Gottschlich): — POLAND. Lower Silesia: Riesengebirge [Karkonosze Mts.], in der Melzergrube [Kocioł Łomniczki], 10–1400 m, 16 August 1927, J. Bornmüller (B barcode B 10 1154504!).— Current name: Hieracium murorum subsp. nivifaucinum Zahn (1931: 420) .
