Classification within Nematoda
Most classifications of nematodes show traces of the groups with which the authors are most familiar, be they free-living or parasitic, and terrestrial or marine. Whether classifications are based primarily on molecular or morphological evidence has also proven a barrier to agreement among classifications from different authors.
