Distribution. Only known from Brazil (World Spider Catalog 2017).
Note. Arachnomura hieroglyphica Mello-Leitão, 1917 (unknown female) can be recognized using illustrations of Galiano (1977a: figs 7‒8, 9‒10, 18‒19). The holotype is poorly preserved, possibly because it has dried out several times through the decades.
