( Figs 3 View FIGURES 1 – 8 , 14 View FIGURES 11 – 14 )

Material. 13 [ India] “Andamans. Jan. 1904. G. Rogers. 1903-349.” (BMNH).

This species was described from a single female from the Andaman Islands (Kallies 2004). Recently, a male ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 8 ) was found in the unsorted material of the BMNH. It bears the same label data as the holotype, and it can be assumed that both were collected together. The male differs from the female by its reduced yellow markings on the fore- and hindwings, i.e. the yellow discal spot of the forewings is narrow and small (round and large in the female), the yellow spot near the posterior margin of the forewing is missing (present in the female), and the yellow subbasal area of the hindwing is smaller and divided by a black streak (large and undivided in the female). The antennae are serrate and short-ciliate. Unfortunately, the abdomen of this specimen is missing; thus, the male genitalia remain unknown.
