A Sea trout, Salmonidae ( Fig. 2D View Figure 2 ), was collected on 17 Jun 2019 during the MEDITS survey, using a bottom trawl. It was collected off the Rhône River in the Gulf of Lion (Mediterranean Sea), Station G 309 (43.156 / 43.137 °N, 4.996 / 4.975°E), at 114-115 m depth. Seawater bottom temperature was 13.67-13.70°C and salinity was 35.17-35.30‰. The individual measured ca. 23 cm TL and weighed 268 g. It looked underweight and unhealthy. Recorded by L. Metral and A. Jadaud. Sea trout are rare in the Mediterranean Sea and considered stray specimens GoogleMaps .
