Material examined. 1♀, LepsocAfrica CRG, M1254b, Gelechioidea, reared on Searsia chiridensis , Anacardiaceae, Mariepskop , South Africa, Mpumalanga, Hoedspruit, 24˚32’52”S, 30˚51’60”E, 20.iv.2016 eclosed (A. & I. Sharp) (gen. slide 132/19, O. Bidzilya) ( HSS).
Biology. The larva was observed feeding on Searsia chiridensis (Anacardiaceae) in March. Adult emerged 20.iv ( Staude et al. 2020: 57).
Distribution. South Africa ( Meyrick 1913a: 288).
