Material examined. 1♂, LepsocAfrica CRG, Staude et al. (2016), M577, Gelechiidae , reared on Sclerocarya birrea caffra , Anacardiaceae, Caskets farm, South Africa, Limpopo, Hoedspruit, 24˚20’36’’S, 31˚09’07’’E, 25.i.2014 eclosed (A. & I. Sharp) (gen. slide 68/19, O. Bidzilya); 1♀, same data but M628, 28.ii.2014 (gen. slide 66/19, O. Bidzilya) (all HSS).
Biology. The larvae were observed feeding on Sclerocarya birrea caffra (Anacardiaceae) in early January and early February. Adult emerged 25.i and 28.ii ( Staude et al. 2016: 65, as Pseudotelphusa sp. 3).
Distribution. South Africa ( Meyrick 1913a: 287).
