Material examined. 1♀, LepsocAfrica, M723, Gelechiidae , reared on Combretum apiculatum , Combretaceae, Casketts farm, South Africa, Limpopo, Hoedspruit, 24˚20’36’’S, 31˚09’07’’E, 18.iv.2014 eclosed (A. & I. Sharp) (gen. slide 146/19, O. Bidzilya) ( HSS).
Biology. The larva was recorded feeding on Combretum apiculatum (Combretaceae) in late April. Adult emerged 18.iv ( Staude et al. 2016: 65, 66).
Distribution. Namibia, South Africa ( Janse 1954: 415).
