Azaleothrips lineus Bhatti, 1995: 101 View in CoL .
This species was described from a unique female, possibly collected together with asperses, in Bombay, India. According to the original description and figures, it belongs to the amabilis View in CoL group, and shares several character states with siamensis View in CoL . From that species, however, it differs in the yellowish base of hind femora and shorter mouth cone.
