K. kerberti is reported off the Azores, in the PECS area (13 NM northwest of the Olympus Knoll), MAR-ECO – HamPelFish, No. 34844461, 27.8029º W, 45.6669° N, 11 Jun. 1982: identified as Kali normani (Parr, 1931) . GoogleMaps

Melo (2008) re-evaluated K. kerberti as valid and identifies it as senior synonym of K. normani .
