Distribution. Brazil: RJ ( Silva et al. 1968, as Coelochara sp.).

Host plant. Cedrela fissilis (Meliaceae) .

Comment. Silva et al. (1968) reported Coelochara sp. from ‘cedro rosa’ in a nursery. This record could concern M. anjosi or another species. In material from MG and PR (ELEF, NHMB) there is an undescribed species from Cedrela fissilis .
