Published (original) locality: Koksengir Mts near Zhana-Arka ( Kazakhstan, Karaganda Prov.).

Current status. Andrena (Leimelissa) ponomarevae Osytshnjuk, 1983 (according to Osytshnjuk et al. 2008: 137).

Remarks. Although the holotype specimen was reported by Osytshnjuk (1983b: 26) as deposited in the ZISP collection, now it is stored in IZAN ( Scheuchl et al. 2000; Romasenko et al. 2003).

Distribution. Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan.
