Distribution. Introduced. Neotropical; Galápagos: Santa Cruz.
Material examined. Galápagos: Santa Cruz: Salasaoa , 18.v.2004, R . Azvero (9 ♀, CNC) .
Remarks. Numerous adults of this species suddenly appeared in the agricultural zone of Santa Cruz in late 2003. Nerius plurivittatus Bigot breeds in the decaying cambium layer below bark ( Buck 2010).
