Acrotrichis hova sp.n.

Habitus Fig. 18A . Length 0.77 mm. Colour Pale yellowish brown, antennae and legs yellowish brown. Antennomeres 3–11 0.31 mm long Fig. 18 C. Mentum and submentum chaetotaxy Fig. 18 E. Width across eyes 0.30 mm. Pronotum 0.50 mm wide, 0.26 mm long, sides strongly rounded in posterior half Fig. 18 B. Elytra 0.45 mm long, 0.48 mm wide. Posterior margin of mesoventral collar sloped at shoulders and with a shallow median excision Fig. 18 F. Posterior margin of metaventrum between metacoxae long Fig. 18 G; metacoxal plates Fig. 18 G.

Male: not known.

Female: spermatheca Fig. 17 D.

Etymology. Johnson ms name.

Remarks. Most likely to be confused with heissi and separable by the form of the spermatheca. Type data. Holotype: ♀, Forêt de Sakahara, 23.iv.1969, leg. H. Franz (MM). Paratypes: 9♀, same data as holotype. (Johnson ms indicates that a further 7 specimens may have been placed in the collection of H. Franz).
