Habitus Fig. 30A. Length 1.10 mm. Colour blackish brown, antennae and legs pale brown. Antennomeres 3–11 0.45 mm long Fig. 30 C. Mentum setae arranged 5,3,5, submentum with +/- 18 setae Fig. 30 L. Width across eyes 0.40 mm. Pronotum 0.73 mm wide, 0.36 mm long, sides strongly curved, without a sinuation at the hind angle Fig. 30 B. Elytra 0.57 mm long, 0.69 mm wide. Posterior margin of mesoventral collar with a shallow median excision Fig. 30 F, sloping shoulders Fig. 30 J. Metaventral posterior margin and metacoxal plates Fig. 30 H. Abdominal ventrites with a wavy posterior margin Fig. 30 K.
Male: ventrite six Fig. 30 G; ventrite seven Fig. 30 I; aedeagus Fig. 30 E.
Female: spermatheca Fig. 30 D.
Etymology. Johnson ms name.
Remarks. Closely related to africana but larger and broader with longer antennae and sharper pronotal hind angles.
Type data. Holotype: ♂, Perinet, 12.x.1970, ex forest litter, leg. P.M.Hammond ( BMNH). Paratypes: 2♂ 1#, same data as holotype; 1♀, Ambohitantely Spec. Res., ABT/01/2011, sifting forest litter under Pandanus very dry material, Winkler app. extraction, S.18˚10’51.7” E.47˚17’21.6”, 1593 m, 19.iv.2011, P. Banar & R. Raveloson ( BMNH); 2 examples, Ambohitantely Spec.
