This species has been collected in Trinidad & Tobago and in most South American countries, from Colombia to Argentina (Cordeiro & Moreira 2015), but has no published records from French Guiana. We report here the presence of N. lubricus in this country for the first time.

Material examined. FRENCH GUIANA: Cayenne —Matoury, close to Cayenne-Félix Eboué Airport, N 04°48.208, W 052°22.293, 05.III.2014, (A. Khila; M. E. Santos; A. J. J.
