Asplenium mosetenense M.Kessler, Candollea View in CoL 61: 309. 2006.
Range:— Endemic to Bolivia (CO).
Ecology:— Locally fairly common; epiphytic and terrestrial in stunted ridge and slope forests on an isolated pre- Andean mountain range; 1350–1450 m.
Notes:— Very similar to A. incurvatum , but co-occurs with it at the type locality while maintaining distinctness and hence we recognize it as a distinct species. However, Jonas (2011) was unable to find any molecular or morphological differences between these two species and A. achalense , besides the rhizome scale characters mentioned in the key.
