Type:—VENEZUELA. Amazonas: Laja Cabezón, Río Cabezón, close to mouth of Río Atabapo, 11 November 1960, Foldats 3899 (holotype VEN)
Etymology:— Named after Lilijae Foldats , wife of the Venezuelan orchidologist Ernest Foldats.
Distribution:— Venezuela. TDWG code: 82 VEN-OO.
Diagnostic characters:— Differs from the other species by reduced lateral lobes (width two times smaller than midlobe length) and trilobed callus.
