Summary. Lobus lineatus Naskar, Banerjee et Parui , sp. n. is described and illustrated from Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. New species is similar to L. bandipurensis
Joseph et Parui, 1993 but differs from latter in bifurcated epandrium. A key to eight Indian species of the genus Lobus Martin, 1972 is provided also.
