Material examined: ARGENTINA: Terr. Rio Negro, Bariloche , holotype male, 23–28. x. 1926, F. W. Edwards ( BMNH1927–63 ) .
Diagnostic characters: Differs from other members of the group by apparently having only two acrostichals; no supraalar; 90 µm long costal extension; parallel-sided, completely bare anal point; and R 4+5 ending distal to end of M 3+4.
The species is redescribed in detail in Andersen et al. (2010: 10).
Distribution
The species is known from Argentina only.
