Inner verticals absent in H. ruttneri . H. falsicostata and H. aagaardi ; wing with well developed anal lobe, with false vein except in H. setavena and H. ruttneri , setae present on R in male and on R and R 4+ 5 in female; oral projections of transverse sternapodeme well developed; inferior volsella with accessory lobe present with at least free apex in H. ruttneri . H. falsicostata and H. aagaardi ; crista dorsalis evident except in H. falsicostata and H. aagaardi . Pupa with tergal conjunctives VII/VIII bare in H. ruttneri and H. virgo , with spinules in H. oxoniana , H. montana and H. falsicostata ; sternal conjunctives III/IV with spinules; anal macrosetae reduced in H. oxoniana and H. montana , absent in other species.
