Material examined: SEYCHELLES: Mahé, Cascade Estate , lectotype male, iii.1909, J. S. Gardineau ( BMNH); Mahé. Marc aux Cochons, 1 male, 29.vii.2002, J. Gerlach ( ZMBN) .

Diagnostic characters: The long, bare, parallel-sided anal point combined with the forked postcubitus and R 4+5 ending above apex of M 3+$ separate this species from other members of the genus.

The male imago known only from the type locality on the Seychelles, is redescribed in detail by Saether (2004: 206) .
