Material examined: CHINA: Jilin, Mt. Changbai , 1 male, 23.vi.1986, X. Wang .
Diagnostic characters: The male differs from all other members of the angusta group in having undivided, apically more or less rounded superior plus median volsella, a furcate inferior volsella, an additional lobe at apex of gonocoxite, no anal point, a spine-like virga and an AR of about 1.3.
Etymology: From the Latin furcatus, forked, referring to the shape of the inferior volsella.
Male imago (n = 1)
All measurements and ratios within the range of variation of P. forcipata described below, with the following exceptions and additions: Wing ( Fig. 106 A View FIGURE 106 ) length/length of profemur 3.01; AR 1.26; costal extension 23 µm long, Cu 1 curved; dorsocentrals 7; BV 1 3.63; hypopygium ( Fig. 106 F View FIGURE 106 ) without anal point, laterosternite with 7 setae; virga ( Fig. 106 E View FIGURE 106 ) spine-like, 16 µm long; gonocoxite with superior and median volsella fused, 32 µm long, 21 µm wide at apex; inferior volsella 23 µm long, bifurcate, and with additional apical lobe (not accessory lobe); gonostylus on one side with 2 megasetae; HR 2.76; HV 3.74.

Unknown.
Distribution
The species is only known from the type locality, a mountain habitat in Jilin, China .
