Type Locality: Pakistan, NW Baluchistan, Nushki Plateau, appox. 29EN, 66EE, 3,500 ft (1067 m).
Vernacular Names: Baluchistan Pygmy Jerboa.
Distribution: Pakistan, SW Baluchistan ( Roberts, 1977, 1997).
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc) as Salpingotus michaelis .
