Description: Shell nearly 3 mm solid, ovate conic, usually umbilicus absent; body with spiral sculpture which is predominant, axial sculpture present as growth lines which looks like coarse cancellate sculpture. Aperture oval, usually distinctly angled anteriorly; outer lip thickened and varix on outer lip broad and strong. Protoconch small, smooth, of about 1 ¾ convex whorls, but in some specimens ( Figure 5 View Figure 5 ) protoconch not like planorbid type i.e. coiling on the same plane, it is raised. Operculum oval, nucleus eccentric or marginal without peg and calcareous matter.
