Distribution in India: Karnataka (Bangaluru and Mysuru), Kerala (Kallara village in Thiruvananthapuram district), Tamil Nadu (Servarayan Hills, Nilgiri Hills and Palni Hills) and West Bengal ( Emden 1965; Pont 1977; Shinonaga and Tewari 2008).
Newly reported: Assam (Bamunigaon, 26°01’11.2”N 91°17’24.5”E), Jharkhand (Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary, 24°08’53.2”N 85°19’21.2”E), Orissa (Simlipal National Park, 21.5931° N 86.2945° E).
