Ne differe de emacerata HNS que par l'absence de l'ocelle median, lequel est du reste souvent atrophie chez le type. L'epistome est legerement denticule.

La Sima prelli Forel HNS est plus petite, ses articles funiculaires plus epais, la couleur differe, la tete est aussi plus courte, l'epistome non denticule.
