Type locality: Brazil, Paraná, Morretes, Parque Estadual do Pau Oco.
Paratype ♂ with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “EST. BIOL. BORACEIA [Estação Biológica de Boracéia] | Salesópolis, S.P [São Paulo], 850 m | M. Carrera [Messias Carrera] xi-1957 ”; (2) printed on yellow paper: “ Acrochaeta | polychaeta ♂ | Fachin & Amorim 2015 | Paratype”.
Condition of type: left wing damaged on radial veins. Missing parts: right fore tarsomeres; left hind leg, except for coxa and trochanter; last three right hind tarsomeres; right wing and part of costal vein above bm cell of left wing.
Paratype ♂ with labels: (1) printed on white paper: “S. Bocaina . 1700m | Fazend. [Fazenda] Lageado | S.P. [São Paulo] maio de 1951 | Dalcy Machado”; (2) printed on yellow paper: “ Acrochaeta | polychaeta ♂ | Fachin & Amorim 2015 | Paratype”.
Condition of type: good. Missing parts: all antennal flagellomeres; left fore leg, except for coxa and trochanter.
