Type locality: Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Angra dos Reis, Jussaral.
Syntype ♂ with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “Type | Lindner | 1935 [in vertical position]”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “ Berisargus | lopesi | Lind. [Lindner]”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “BRASIL [in vertical position] | JUSSARAL | ANGRA-E. DO RIO [Angra dos Reis, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil] | L.TRAV.ET. LOPES [L. Travassos and Lopes] | X-934 [x.1934] [in vertical position]”; (4) printed on white paper: “8.029”; (5) printed on red paper: “EMBRAPA”.
Condition of type: good. Missing parts: antenna left fore and mid legs, and right hind leg.

Condition of type: good.
Additional note: there is no any type label in this syntype specimen. However, we recognize it as a syntype following the information in the original description (Lindner 1935: 401) and in the World catalog of the family (Woodley 2001: 258).
