Identification and natural history. Two adult males ( USMHC 2447, SVL 24 mm; USMHC 2448, SVL 25 mm) matched Taylor’s (1962a) diagnosis in having a flattened head; tympanum covered with skin; first fin- ger longer than second; distinct inner and outer metacarpal tubercles; disk on toe tips; toes completely webbed; a supratympanic fold from eye to near arm; large inner
metatarsal tubercle; no outer metatarsal tubercle; brownish-grey dorsum scattered with small tubercles; lighter spots on tip of snout and along upper lip; smooth venter yellowish-white to flesh-white; indistinctly barred arms and distinct brown bars on legs. Both specimens were found along puddles by trail at night.
