Agrimonia eupatoria View in CoL sensu stricto

Agrimonia eupatoria View in CoL was first described by Linnaeus (1753: 448) in “ …in Europae, pratis apricis argillaceis ” as “ AGRIMONIA foliis cauliniis pinnatis, fructibus hispidis ”. The Linnaean name was correctly lectotypified in 1973 by V. Skalický on the specimen LINN 628.1. Agrimonia eupatoria View in CoL is not problematic and has been maintained throughout the 19thC, 20thC and 21stC (De Candolle 1825, Rouy 1900, Skalický 1968a, Martín 1998, Li et al. 2003).
