Vernacular Names: Yellow-bellied Pouched Bat.

Synonyms: Saccolaimus hargravei Ramsay 1876 ; Saccolaimus insignis Leche 1884 .

Distribution: Australia (except Tasmania), SE New Guinea.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).
