Material examined. Holotype: ♂, mixed forest (37°41 ʹ 12 ʺ N, 128°30 ʹ 14 ʺ E, alt. 977 m), Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, 20 July 2010, J. C. Lim.

Etymology. The specific name comes from the type lo- cality, Pyeongchang County.

Diagnosis. The new species is easily distinguished from its congeneric species by the shape of paracymbial branches, posterior part of radix, pseudolamella, and lamellar extension (Fig. A-D).

Description. Male (holotype). Total length 1.80. Habitus as in Figure 6L View Fig . Carapace dark brown, 0.95 long, 0.80 wide. Clypeus height 3 times of diameter of AME. AER 0.32, PER 0.35. Both eye rows recurved in dorsal view. AME 0.05, ALE 0.08, PME 0.08, PLE 0.08, AME-AME 0.02, AME-ALE 0.04, PME-PME 0.04, PME-PLE 0.04, AME-PME 0.08, and ALE-PLE 0.01. Median ocular quadrangle, posterior side>height>anterior side (15:14:10). Chelicera with three promarginal and four minute retromarginal teeth. Sternum 0.55 long, 0.53 wide. Labium 0.16 wide. Abdomen oval and dark brown, and 0.95 long, 0.63 wide. Palp ( Fig. 16 View Fig A- D): paracymbium bifurcated by bilaminar broad low- er branch and a flat spatula-like upper branch, with a small proximal process and a pointed lateral process; pit hook of suprategulum distinct; anterior part of median membrane round, chitinized, other median membrane transparent with a papillae portion. Embolic division: anterior part of radix hook-like; posterior part blunt; embolus proper and apex small and pointed; anterior terminal apophysis triangular, median one membranous with a serrated margin and papillae; pseudolamella long, narrow, with a serrated margin and a pointed lateral process; lamellar extension membranous, chitinized.

Habitat. Mixed forest.

World Distribution. Korea (Gangwon-do).
