Records. First record was in August 12, 2017 in the occasional sightings site OS3 (43°02.556′ N, 106°17.539′E – 7:00 pm); and subsequently in the monitoring site SGHI1 ( Table 4); Figure 5J.

Identification. It is 1 of the 2 species belong to genus Vulpes (the other being Vulpes vulpes ) occurring in Mongolia. It is smaller than V. vulpes and can be distin- guished by the shorter black-tipped tail and yellowishwhite legs ( Batsaikhan 2014).
