Hyposoter pallidirostris ( Schmiedeknecht,1909) View in CoL

Anilastus pallidirostris Schmiedeknecht, 1909 : holotype ♀ in TLHR, examined by Horstmann.

We have seen two females from Germany in Horstmann’s collection. The species is immediately recognisable by the bright yellow colour of the clypeus and the part of the genae adjacent to the mandibles, unique in Hyposoter View in CoL . It has only been recorded from Germany, and nothing is known of its biology.
