No specimens of this species were successfully barcoded as a part of this project.

Distribution.

This is the first record of the species from Namibia; otherwise it occurs in Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Israel, Niger, Nigeria, Uganda, South Africa and Zimbabwe ( Freeman 1956; Freeman and Cranston 1980; Curtis 1991; Harrison 2004).
