Type locality. Shark Bay, Port Jackson, New South Wales, Australia.
Material examined. South Australia: 4 specimens, SAMA C6651, South Reef, Port Noarlunga (35°56’00”S 138°27’57”E), 10 February 1976.
Western Australia: 3 specimens, NMV J64937 View Materials , western end, Lucky Bay (33°59’S 122°14’E), 5 m, 12 April 1984 (SWA 44); 10 specimens, NMVJ64938, north end of Little Beach, Two Peoples Bay (34°58’24”S 118°11’42”E), 5 April 1984 (SWA 11); 4 specimens, NMVJ64951, north side, Cape Riche (34°37’00”S 118°47’00”E), 6 m, 14 April 1984 (SWA 47).
Remarks. This is the first report of C. munnu species outside of New South Wales. Specimens from South Australia are large, with three specimens over 10 mm in body length.
