Distribution. Captured between 740 and 1270 m from May through August in La Vega and Santiago provinces.
Remarks. Ommatius elusivus is distinguished from congeners by the characters in the key. It is associated with montane forests at intermediate to high elevations. The type series was taken from May through July ( Scarbrough & Perez-Gelabert, 2003). Here we extend its distribution through August.
