Vernacular Names: Malagasy White-bellied Free-tailed Bat.

Distribution: E, N, and W Madagascar.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Data Deficient.

Discussion: Subgenus Mops . Formerly included in condylurus , but see Peterson et al. (1995).
