Type locality. Mont Saint Marcel de la Haute-Camopi , 2o 23’03.00”N 53o 00’37.00”W, 635 m, Commune de Camopi, French Guiana. GoogleMaps
Remarks. The species is one of the largest of the genus. It can be distinguished from the other large species by its monochromatic coloration and lack of green basal areas of the wings ( Sanborn 2016). The timbal cover apex expands over the lateral timbal cavity with a rounded apex ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 ). Body length 29.2–36.7 mm, fore wing length 43.1–50.2 mm ( Sanborn 2016).
Distribution. The species is known currently from the type series collected on Mont Saint Marcel de la Haute- Camopi in southern French Guiana ( Sanborn 2016).
