Type species. Hemutilla granulata Tu, Lelej & Chen in Tu et al., 2014 (male), by original designation.
Taxonomic history. Valid generic name.
Sex association. The female of the type species has not been recognized; the presumed females of other species were associated and described by Tu et al., 2014: 87, fig. 11.
Distribution. Palaearctic, Oriental.
