In this study, we found 38 taxa belonging to Bracon Fabricus , Chelonus Jurine , Chorebus Haliday , Eubazus Nees , Triaspis Haliday , Schizoprymnus Förster , Opius Wesmael , and Aleiodes Wesmael of the subfamilies of Brachistinae , Braconinae , Cheloinae, Dacnusinae, Opiinae , and Rogadinae ( Table 2).

The results demonstrated that Bracon (Bracon) kozak , Pseudovipio inscriptor , Aleiodes (Neorhogas) ductor , and Opius (Opius) quasipulvis are new records for the Thrace region. Eubazus (Brachistes) gigas , Triaspis thoracica , Pseudovipio deserti , and Opius (Opius) trucantulus are newrecordsfortheTurkishfauna.Somespeciesbelonging to the genera Eubazus , Triaspis , Schizoprymnus , and Chorebus were identified to the genus level.

The Brachistinae subfamily is represented by about 400 species in the world, and 156 species are known in the Palearctic region ( Yu et al., 2012); 34 species belonging to 5 genera have been recorded in Turkey in recent studies ( Güçlü and Özbek, 2011). Eubazus , Triaspis , and Schizoprymnus species were detected in our study area. Two species belonging to Eubazus and Triaspis were recorded ( Eubazus (Brachistes) gigas , Triaspis thoracica ). These species are new records for the Turkish fauna. Specimens of Schizoprymnus could not be diagnosed at the species level.

It is estimated that there are about 40,000 species of the subfamily Braconinae in the world, but only about a quarter of this number have been identified ( van Achterberg, 1984). The subfamily is represented by approximately 8000 species in the Palearctic region. About 4000 of these are found in Europe ( Yu et al., 2012). In Turkey, 180 species belonging to the subfamily Braconinae have been found ( Beyarslan, 2012). In our region, 5 genera ( Bracon , Glyptomorpha , Iphiaulax , Pseudovipio , Vipio ) and 23 species belonging to the genera were recorded. One of these species is new to the Turkish fauna and 2 species are new records for the Thrace region.

The subfamily Cheloninae is represented by about 1350 species in the world. Approximately 865 of these belong to the genus Chelonus ( Yu et al., 2012) . Four species have been recorded in our region.

The subfamily Opiinae is represented by more than 26 genera and about 1450 species worldwide; 181 species have been identified in Turkey ( Beyarslan and İnanç, 1992; Fischer and Beyarslan, 2005a, 2005b, 2011; Beyarslan and Fischer, 2011). Three species were identified in our research area. One of these species ( Opius (Opius) truncatulus ) is a new record for the fauna of both the Thrace region and Turkey.

The genus Aleiodes belonging to the subfamily Rogadinae is represented by about 215 species in the world, 126 of which are in the Palearctic region ( Yu et al., 2012). To date, 14 species have been identified in Turkey ( Shenefelt, 1978; Beyarslan et al., 2002 a, 2002b; Aydoğdu and Beyarslan, 2005). Two species were identified in this study and 1 of these species is a new record for the Thrace region.

Among the species identified in the study, 8 species are distributed in rice fields, 6 species in pasture, 1 species in rice fields and pasture, 5 species in rice fields and forest areas, 4 species in forest areas, 4 species in pasture and forest area, and 6 species in all habitat types ( Table 3). The species that were detected were distributed depending on the distributions of host species belonging to Lepidoptera, Diptera, Coleoptera, and Hymenoptera . For this reason, habitat preferences generally vary in the Gala area, with pastureland and forest area.
