Collection and habitat data.
Adults of this species were captured in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in an old red oak stand, an old (180-year-old) red pine stand, a mature (110-year-old) red spruce forest, and an old mixed forest. Majka and Pollock (2006) reported that this species was associated with balsam fir, red spruce, and white pine. In New Brunswick, Phloeotrya fusca was collected during July and August.
Distribution in Canada and Alaska.
