Lepidarchus adonis Roberts, 1966:210 , figs. 10–11. Type locality: a small stream a mile and a half east of Mpataba on the road to Half-Assini, Ghana, at approximately 5°5’N, 2°35’W. Holotype: SU 63546 .

Lepidarchus adonis signifer Isbrücker, 1970:135 , figs. 3–4. Type locality: Africa , Liberia: about 50 miles southeast of Monrovia, southeast of Robertsfield airfield, in a small creek in a swampy area, at approximately 06°12’ N, 10°20’W. Holotype: ZMA 110208 .
