Material: Kenya, Nairobi , 5450 ft. (= 1660 m), XII.1933, leg. A. F. J. Gedye, 1 ♀ TMSA .

Remarks: This specimen is similar to the male holotype of D. grandis n.sp., body length 7.0 mm, but the elytra are somewhat broader and the pronotum is more convex.Additional material is necessary to decide, if this are sexual or specific differences.
