Examined type specimens: Guinea (labelled as Guinea porthogese), Rio Cassine , XII.1899 – IV.1900, leg. L. Fea, 1 ♀ syntype NHMB , designated herewith as lectotype.

Additional specimen: Cameroon, Jaounde, Boumba, Ngoko , X.1962, leg. G. Nonveiller, 4 ex. HNHM (det. Kaszab as elliptica ), 1 ex. SMNS .—E Gabon, Ogooué-Ivindo Prov., Ivindo NP, 540 m, 22.–23.VI.2018, leg. D. Telnov, 1 ex. SMNS .

Distribution: Guinea (type locality), Gabon.
