Remarks.

The morphological differences between many of the species of Euplectrus are small, a fact that previous species descriptors have not realized. Therefore descriptions such as the one by Say, of Euplectrus hircinus , fit to any number, or none, of the species. Without type material, Euplectrus hircinus is impossible to identify.
